High-speed filming captures action at extreme frame rates to produce the dramatic slow motion that has become a signature look of Korean commercial work. The Phantom Flex 4K and the Phantom VEO series are the workhorse bodies on Samsung and LG smartphone launches, Hyundai and Kia car spots, K-beauty campaigns, and the precise liquid and splash work that fills product cutdowns out of Seoul.

We source these cameras through Korean rental houses such as NAC Image Technology, KW Studio, and Hello Pictures Korea. We pair them with Red Komodo high-speed bodies when a shoot needs a smaller form factor for car interiors or rigged set pieces. Our Ops crews arrive with on-set DIT, real-time playback monitors, and the flicker-free HMI and LED packages that high frame rates demand, so directors can review takes at full resolution between setups without leaving the floor.

We base these shoots at Busan Cinema Studios, Art Service Studios in Paju, and Seoul Studio Tricky. The LED volumes run by XON Studios give the controlled lighting that these cameras need. Our high-speed teams plug cleanly into the Locus, Westworld, and U5K Imageworks post pipelines that handle the resulting datasets.

Bolt and Milo motion-control rigs sit alongside the Phantom packages for repeatable robotic moves on K-beauty bottle pours, smartphone hinge reveals, and tabletop car details, with tracking sync that locks the camera and product to the frame. We set up KOFIC forms to confirm Korea Location Incentive eligibility of up to thirty per cent for qualifying K-content shoots. Our DIT crews manage the multi-terabyte daily transfers that 1000-frames-per-second 4K capture creates between Seoul, Busan, and the post houses receiving the dailies.
