bus
Extensive bus network with rapid (red), intercity (blue), and local (green) routes. Main way to get around without car.
Crew tip: Bus schedules can be infrequent to remote locations. 급행 (geuphaeng) express buses faster between major points.
taxi
Available in Jeju City and Seogwipo. Harder to find in rural areas. Kakao T app works but drivers may not accept long-distance.
Crew tip: Consider hiring taxi for full day (~150,000-200,000 won) for location scouts. Negotiate beforehand.
ferry
Ferries to Udo Island from Seongsan Port. Also connections to mainland Mokpo.
Crew tip: Udo ferry runs every 30 min in peak season. Off-season schedule reduced. Equipment transport possible.
Parking available at most tourist sites. Many locations have dedicated lots. Rural areas have ample space.
Jeju's spacious roads and parking lots accommodate production vehicles well. Coordinate with site managers for base camp at major locations.
Rental car strongly recommended for Jeju productions. Island is 73km wide - 1 hour coast to coast. Jeju City to Seogwipo: 40 min via highway. Hallasan requires dedicated day. Plan shooting schedule geographically to minimize transit. Traffic during peak tourist season (summer, holidays) can delay coastal routes significantly.
