SCENE 01 / AERIAL DRONE SERVICES
Aerial Drone Services
Licensed drone operators delivering cinematic aerial footage across Korea.
Aerial drone services deliver sweeping overhead views across South Korea's many settings. Our crews film Seoul's modern skyline along the Han River and the coastal cliffs of Jeju Island. Drones give low-cost aerial coverage for establishing shots, urban reveals, and any production that needs a high viewpoint over iconic Korean scenery.
We set up fully licensed aerial drone services that meet MOLIT rules and Korean aviation law. Our team handles flight plan approvals through the Korea Office of Civil Aviation, off-limits zone permits near Seoul's flight paths, and safety checks. This way your production captures stunning aerial footage safely and legally.

Licensed Korean drone operators from Seoul to Jeju
Aerial drone services in South Korea cover a wide range of work. Our crews fly sweeping establishing shots over the Han River and Seoul's Lotte World Tower, then move to coastal flights along the volcanic cliffs of Jeju, the Wando archipelago, and the Sokcho coastline of the East Sea. We work with Korean pro operators such as Sky Pro and DroneCast, and we draw on the DJI Korea distribution network for the Inspire 3, Mavic 3 Pro Cine, and Matrice 30 systems.
We also partner with heavy-lift teams that fly RED Komodo and ARRI Alexa Mini LF bodies on Freefly Alta X and custom cinema rigs. Every pilot holds MOLIT licensing through the Korea Civil Aviation Authority. Our team leads submit flight plans, manage airspace approvals, and arrange the safety observers that commercial aerial work in Korea requires.
Korean airspace carries strict limits that shape each flight plan. The royal palaces in central Seoul, the Cheong Wa Dae and Yongsan presidential office zones, US military bases across the country, and the DMZ buffer along the northern border are all closed to drone work. Large parts of central Seoul also need advance KCAA notice at any altitude.
We handle these filings and work with the Korea Heritage Service for shoots around protected sites. When flights cross urban streets, we also arrange the police and traffic liaison the work needs. Night drone work, FPV chase sequences through the Hongdae and Seongsu alleyways, and multi-drone planning for K-pop and K-drama shoots all sit within our service line. In parallel, we file the KOFIC forms to confirm Korea Location Incentive eligibility for K-content shoots at up to thirty per cent of qualifying spend.
FAQ
Aerial Cinematography Expertise
What drone certifications do your pilots have?
All our pilots hold the Korean MOLIT certifications that commercial drone work requires. Many also carry certifications from other aviation authorities. We keep full records, including flight logs, insurance, and operational manuals.
Can you fly drones in cities like Seoul?
Urban drone flying in South Korea needs special sign-off. Seoul holds large off-limits airspace, yet we can secure permits for set locations with advance notice. Our team handles every filing and coordinates with the authorities.
What cameras can you mount on drones?
We run everything from built-in camera systems like the DJI Inspire and Mavic lines to heavy-lift platforms that carry RED, ARRI Mini, and other cinema cameras. The platform we pick depends on your image quality needs and how complex the shot is.
Do you provide FPV drone services?
Yes. Our skilled FPV pilots fly dynamic shots, from chase sequences and indoor flying to high-speed proximity work. The FPV team uses custom-built drones with cinema-quality cameras for broadcast-ready footage.
What about night aerial filming?
We are signed off for night drone work with proper lighting, stronger safety protocols, and the right certifications. Night flying needs extra planning and sign-off, so please raise your needs early.
How far in advance should we book?
Standard aerial shoots can often be set up with 1-2 weeks notice. Bigger jobs that need special sign-off, off-limits airspace access, or multi-drone setups may take 3-4 weeks to plan and approve.
