Production support crew throughout Korea
Behind each strong production in South Korea sits a steady support team. We supply the key roles that keep shoots moving across Seoul, Busan, Jeju Island, and each spot in between. The Line Producers, Production Managers, and crew leads on our books have worked on both Korean shoots and global co-productions. They know how to weigh creative goals against the real limits of filming here. Our team can staff a full support crew at short notice.
Our Fixer service is central to smooth shoots in South Korea. Our fixers open doors to locations and manage ties with local authorities. They also handle the permit and access steps that global crews find unfamiliar. Location Scouts and Location Managers cover the full country, from the urban districts of Seoul and Incheon to coastal spots near Busan and rural settings across the Gangwon and Jeolla provinces. Assistant Directors and Second ADs handle on-set scheduling, extras, and team communication. Meanwhile, Runners and Production Assistants give the daily support that keeps a shooting day on schedule. Talent Coordinators manage cast welfare and scheduling across all locations.
What the support roster delivers is the connective tissue of a Korean shoot. Transportation and Travel Coordinators move cast, crew, and gear by road, KTX rail, and air across the country. Unit Publicists build release-ready press material during production. Production Coordinators run the paperwork and call-sheet flow from the office. Catering, Medical, and Safety crews keep the unit fed, healthy, and KOSHA-compliant on site. Together these roles let your core creative team focus on the work in front of the camera.
The Korean talent pool for these roles runs deep, shaped by the Hallyu wave and a constant flow of K-drama series and global co-productions. Seoul holds the largest base, with strong regional crews in Busan, Incheon, and on Jeju Island. Many of our support pros built their careers on Studio Dragon, CJ ENM, and broadcaster productions before crossing into international work. We can staff a single coordinator for a small unit, or a full support department for a feature at Paju Studio Cube or the Digital Media City hub.
Most of our support crew work in fluent Korean and English, so they bridge an international production office and the local vendors, authorities, and talent it depends on. On vetting and terms, we confirm credits, licences where the role needs them, and set-safety habits before anyone joins a call sheet. Day rates sit in Korean Won and follow the standard Korean crew-day structure, with 10% VAT on invoices. For qualifying foreign productions, our crews keep records aligned with KOFIC incentive audit needs from the first day of prep.
How we deploy a support team depends on the shape of your shoot. For a permit-heavy schedule, we lead with a fixer who liaises with the Seoul Film Commission or Busan Film Commission and the right district offices. For a touring shoot, we weight the roster toward transport, travel, and location crews who know the road and rail links between Seoul, Busan, and Jeju. We scale the department up or down across the shoot, and we hold reserve crew on call so a single absence never stalls a Korean production day.
