SCENE 01 / WIRELESS VIDEO SYSTEMS

Wireless Video Systems

Professional wireless video for your Korean production.

Scroll

Wireless video systems send camera feeds to monitors, video villages, and remote stations with no cables. They free the camera to move and let you spread out tracking stations, so directors and focus pullers can watch live feeds from anywhere on set.

We source wireless video systems with the range, low latency, and channel count your shoot needs. Our team plans frequencies and tests signals to keep the link clean and free of interference between the camera and tracking stations in every location.

On Location

Reliable wireless video links across Korean locations

Wireless video on shoots in South Korea has to work in one of the densest RF settings in Asia. KCC and MSIT manage broadcast and cellular bands that stack up across Seoul, Busan, and Incheon. Our rental desk plans every link against that crowded spectrum, so feeds stay clean in city cores and on packed studio lots alike.

Our stock runs to more than fifty Teradek Bolt and Vaxis Storm transmitter and receiver pairs. Each pair is set up to give zero-latency, multi-receiver feeds for video village work. That holds whether the camera moves through the markets of Myeong-dong, rides a crane over the Han River, or pulls a long lens along the open coast near Jeju. Every unit is range-tested and frequency-scanned before it leaves our Seoul site. Teradek Bolt 4K systems handle up to six receivers at once, so they anchor most multi-monitor shoots.

We plan frequencies ahead of each shoot day. The team scans every location and picks channels that sit clean against local broadcast pilots, cellular carriers, and any wireless mic or lens-control RF running on set. On the Teradek Bolt 4K, line-of-sight ranges of up to fifteen hundred feet are standard.

Compatibility is checked before any kit ships. Our transmitters take both SDI and HDMI from ARRI Alexa Mini, Sony Venice, and RED Raptor and Komodo bodies, and feed any monitor in your village. Each receiver carries fresh batteries plus a charged spare, and 220V mains chargers suit Korean power. Imported rigs arriving on an ATA Carnet are matched to our cabling and frame rates, so a foreign DP's package drops into a Korean village without a hitch.

Backup is built into every booking. Spare transmitter and receiver pairs ride with each package, and our technicians stay reachable around the clock to swap a faulted unit mid-take. Extended-range antennae stay ready for shoots on the Namyangju Studio Tricky backlots or on remote ground at Bukhansan and Seoraksan. Full video village options cover the transmitter, receivers, monitors, distribution, and cabling, so directors and clients keep a live feed all day long.

Pricing is quoted in Korean Won with 10% VAT shown on every line. Daily, weekly, and run-of-show rates reward longer bookings, and extra receivers, antennae, and operator time are costed clearly up front. Production insurance is required and can be arranged through us or your own broker. For qualifying foreign productions, we format rental records to support KOFIC incentive and cash rebate claims, keeping monitoring spend documented from prep through wrap.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What wireless video systems do you recommend?

For most pro shoots, we pick Teradek Bolt for its solid link and zero-latency feed. Vaxis Storm gives great quality at a lower price. The right choice comes down to your needs and your budget.

How many receivers can you support?

Modern systems feed many receivers from one transmitter, and the Teradek Bolt 4K supports up to 6 receivers. For larger video villages, we can set up many transmitter and receiver pairs.

What's the range of wireless video?

Range varies by system and setting. The Teradek Bolt 4K reaches up to 1500ft line-of-sight. For longer distances or tough spots, we can add extended-range gear or place antennae to help.

Do you provide 4K wireless video?

Yes, we supply 4K-capable wireless systems such as the Teradek Bolt 4K and Vaxis options. A 4K link lets you view full-resolution images right at the video village.

What about latency?

Pro systems like Teradek Bolt run at sub-1ms latency, which is as good as zero. That speed matters for focus pulling and live monitoring. Some budget systems lag more.

Can you provide complete video village setup?

Yes, we supply full video village setups with wireless links, monitors, signal distribution, and all the cabling. Our team can build multi-camera villages that give the director and the clients their own feeds.

Productions in South Korea that need this often pair it with Field Monitors and Monitor & Video Village for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Wireless Systems and Wireless Microphone Systems.
