SCENE 01 / MULTI CAMERA SETUPS

Multi-Camera Setups

Professional live event coverage and multi-camera production across Korea.

Scroll

Multi-camera setups deploy two or more cameras simultaneously to capture comprehensive coverage of scenes, events, or performances. From K-pop concerts at Gocheok Sky Dome and KSPO Dome to K-drama broadcasts and the Busan International Film Festival, this approach maximizes shooting efficiency, preserves performance continuity, and provides editors with multiple angles from each take.

We coordinate multi-camera configurations with matched camera bodies, synchronized settings, and integrated monitoring systems across Seoul, Busan, Incheon, and Daegu. Our team works alongside the broadcast infrastructure connected to Busan Cinema Studios, Art Service Studios in Paju, and the LED volumes at XON Studios — supporting Korea's world-leading K-content production ecosystem.

Korean multi-camera coverage for K-drama broadcasts and K-pop concerts

Here is how this works in practice. Multi-camera setups in South Korea draw on the production infrastructure clustered around the country's broadcast capitals: MBC at Sangam, KBS at Yeouido, SBS at Mokdong and JTBC's Sangam tricky. K -drama studios at Studio Cube in Paju and the LED stages of XON and Art Service. Three- to twelve-plus camera rigs cover K-pop concerts at KSPO Dome, Gocheok Sky Dome, Jamsil Arena and Seoul World Cup Stadium, K-drama variety shows.

Here is the short of it. The list includes Knowing Bros and Running Man, live broadcasts from SBS Open Hall. The awards ceremonies that anchor the Korean entertainment calendar. Jibs, jimmy jibs, POV units, wireless RF cameras and stabilised gimbal heads feed matched camera bodies into a vision-mixed program output with synchronised settings and integrated monitoring across every position.

Here is the breakdown. Live switching, vision mixing, graphics, replay systems and IMAG screen feeds for in-venue audiences are produced by directors and technical managers drawn from the Korean TV networks freelance pool, with two-language coordination supporting global productions. OB van facilities running KT Media and Mobinside infrastructure carry switching desks, monitoring, audio mixing and the fibre and cellular connectivity Korean venues need for live delivery.

Streams reach Korean sites including Naver TV, Tving, Wavve and Coupang Play with YouTube, Twitch and satellite uplink for broadcast. Major events are typically booked six to eight weeks in advance to secure gear and crew, while smaller multi-camera shoots can be assembled inside one or two weeks. Productions qualifying under the K-content cash rebate can include multi-camera day rates within eligible spend.

FAQ

Live Production Expertise

How many cameras can you deploy?

We regularly operate setups from 3 to 12+ cameras depending on event scale. For major K-pop concerts at Gocheok Sky Dome or KSPO Dome, we can deploy extensive camera packages including specialty positions like jibs, roving cameras, jimmy jibs, and POV units.

Do you provide live switching and direction?

Yes, our multi-camera packages include experienced vision mixers and directors who switch between cameras in real-time, creating a polished live edit. We can deliver a switched program feed, ISO recordings, or both.

Can you live stream our event?

Yes, we provide complete live streaming services including encoding, CDN delivery, and platform management for YouTube, Naver, V LIVE, and other Korean platforms. We can also provide satellite uplink for broadcast.

What about IMAG for live audiences?

We provide IMAG (Image Magnification) services for K-pop concerts and events, feeding live camera coverage to venue screens so audiences can see close-ups of performers and speakers.

Do you have OB van facilities?

We work with professional OB (Outside Broadcast) vans equipped with switching desks, monitoring, audio mixing, and all necessary infrastructure. Korea's K-pop industry runs some of the world's most experienced concert OB van fleets.

How far in advance should we book?

For major K-pop events and broadcasts, we recommend booking 6-8 weeks ahead to ensure equipment availability. Smaller multi-camera shoots can often be arranged with 1-2 weeks notice.

Productions in South Korea that need this often pair it with Live Streaming, Virtual Reality Filming, and Volumetric Capture for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Competition & Reality Show Production and Multi-Camera Shoots.
