On Location

Korean broadcast streaming from K-pop arenas to corporate keynotes

South Korea's live-streaming setup runs on the country's gigabit fibre backbone and the broadcast cluster around the Digital Media City in The DMC hub. There, Korea Telecom Media, Mobinside and other OB truck teams field some of the world's most skilled concert switching crews.

Multi-camera packages cover K-pop showcases at KSPO Dome, Jamsil Arena, Gocheok Sky Dome, Olympic Park and Seoul World Cup Stadium. Cinema cameras, broadcast PTZ heads, wireless RF units and drone integration all feed one vision-mixed program output. Connectivity is layered, with dark fibre direct from the venue where ready and bonded cellular across SK Telecom, KT and LG U+ as the main uplink. We add a satellite backup for events in Jeju or remote mountain regions where ground paths are limited.

Productions reach viewers through every major Korean and global platform. These include Naver TV, Tving, Wavve, V LIVE successors, YouTube, Twitch and custom RTMP destinations, with multi-language audio routing for Korean, English, Japanese and Mandarin programme feeds. Live graphics, lower thirds, real-time replay and IMAG screen feeds for in-venue crowds come from directors and tech managers in the SBS, MBC, KBS and JTBC freelance pool. The same teams cover corporate keynotes in Gangnam, conferences at COEX or KINTEX and film premieres tied to the Busan Global Film Festival. Each stream is recorded in full quality as backup and delivered with edited highlights for later use across social and on-demand channels.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What platforms can you stream to?

We can stream to any major platform—YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Twitch, and custom RTMP destinations. Our team can also stream to many of them at once for the widest reach.

What about internet connectivity at Korean venues?

South Korea has the world's fastest average internet speeds, so major venues in Seoul, Busan, and Incheon have top fibre and 5G links. We back this up with bonded cellular across SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+ carriers. For shoots on Jeju Island or in remote mountain areas, we add a satellite uplink as backup.

Can you handle multi-language streams in Korean and English?

Yes. We produce multi-language streams with separate audio tracks for Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese, plus live interpretation on dedicated channels. This matters for K-pop fan events, tech launches, and conferences reaching global viewers across Asia-Pacific.

What quality can you deliver?

We can deliver streams up to 4K, based on venue connectivity and platform support. Most pro streams use 1080p HD at a high bitrate, which gives great quality and broad compatibility.

Do you provide interactive features?

Yes, we can add live polls, Q&A, chat moderation, and audience participation tools. These draw viewers in and make streams more interactive than a normal broadcast.

What about recording the stream?

We always record streams as backup and can supply high-quality files for on-demand viewing. After the event, our team can deliver edited highlights or the full recording.

Productions in South Korea that need this often pair it with Multi-Camera Setups, Virtual Reality Filming, and Volumetric Capture for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Multi-Camera Shoots and Competition & Reality Show Production.
