Production vehicles and rigs in Korea

Moving shoots efficiently across South Korea's road network needs cars configured for the specific demands of film production. This ranges from the expressways linking Seoul, Daejeon, and Busan to the narrower coastal and mountain roads of Gangwon Province and Jeju Island. Our fleet of production cars and specialty rigs is based in Seoul and ready for deployment across the country, with skilled drivers who know both the logistics of gear transport and the needs of camera and grip cars running on active set.

Camera trucks in our fleet are fitted with secure, climate-controlled cargo areas that protect sensitive gear during transport between locations in Seoul, Busan, and points further afield. Specialty rigs include tracking cars, low-loaders for tow-line filming, and process trailer units. They are ready for shoots that need controlled moving shots, whether in central Seoul or on the open coastal roads of the southern peninsula.

Fully equipped support cars carry grip, lighting, and expendables for teams working across many simultaneous locations. Expert drivers who hold the relevant Korean commercial licences and have experience with film shoots manage all car ops. South Korea-wide coverage means we can set up fleet logistics for shoots moving through many cities over an extended schedule.

This sub-hub spans our two vehicle tracks. Production vehicles cover the trucks, vans, and trailers that keep a crew mobile and self-sufficient, from camera and grip trucks to honey wagons and star wagons. Specialty rigs cover camera-mounted platforms like Russian arms, insert cars, and process trailers for moving shots. Our rental desk scopes both together so base-camp logistics and the action unit's rigging plan are booked as one fleet from the start.

Logistics begin with permits and parking. We arrange street-parking authorisations with district offices and the Korean police for tight quarters like Insadong, Samcheong-dong, and the older lanes of Jongno. Camera-car rigs running on closed expressway sections are planned with the KEC network and regional police well ahead of the shoot. For Jeju Island schedules, we coordinate ferry transport so full base-camp infrastructure reaches the island when offshore work demands it.

Pricing is quoted in Korean Won with 10% VAT itemised on every line. Daily and run-of-show rates cover the cars, while driver time, fuel, and permit fees are costed transparently up front. Production insurance is required and can be arranged through us or your own broker. For qualifying foreign productions, we format fleet-rental records to support KOFIC incentive and cash rebate claims, so transport spend stays documented across a multi-city schedule.
