Lighting kit rental gives shoots pro-grade fixtures, controls, and accessories without the cost of owning them. Rental houses hold deep stocks of LED, HMI, tungsten, and fluorescent units. They also carry dimming systems, cables, and power gear for shoots of any size.

We arrange lighting kit rentals from vetted local suppliers, lock in good rates, and run the logistics of delivery and return. Our team works with your gaffer so the right fixtures, accessories, and backup units arrive on time and in tested working order.

Full lighting packages from Seoul-based rental partners

Lighting kit rental in South Korea draws on a tight network of rental houses around the DMC hub and the Paju Studio Cube corridor. Our team books across that whole network rather than tying shoots to one vendor. The Seoul inventory keeps ARRI SkyPanel S60 and S30 sets, Litepanels Gemini units, Aputure 600x and 1200d fixtures, and the full ARRI M-series HMI line ready to go. When a theatrical wash is called for, we add Kino Flo soft sources and Source Four ellipsoidals.

Grip stock — C-stands, combos, 4x4 through 20x20 frames, Griffolyn, Ultrabounce, and the duvetyn flag families — ships with each lighting order, so the gaffer and key grip work from one inventory list. We set up cross-rentals between partner houses daily, which matters when a SkyPanel run is already booked into a K-drama overlap at MBC Sangam or SBS Mokdong.

Each package leaves the warehouse tested under load: we cycle the electronic ballasts, colour-check the LEDs against the camera's white point, and verify the dimmer curves before delivery. For locations without trusted mains — Han River bridge underdecks, mountain temples around Bukhansan, or the snow plates shot near Pyeongchang — we size silent power packs, distro boxes, and Bates feeder to the lighting plot in prep. Our electricians then handle the load calculations and tie-in planning with location managers.

South Korea's mix of historic shooting permits, broadcast site ties, and K-content cash rebates means most global shoots arrive on tight schedules. We keep replacement fixtures and a 24-hour delivery cycle running out of Seoul, so shoot-day changes never cost you a setup. When the boards call for it, we source specialty stock — balloon lights, Dino fixtures, and underwater units — through the same partner network.

Every package is built for the Korean grid, which runs 220V at 60Hz. The HMI ballasts and LED drivers are matched to that supply, and we flicker-test fixtures at the camera's frame rate before they leave the warehouse. For locations with weak or absent mains — Bukchon Hanok Village lanes, mountain temples, or the East Sea shoreline — we size silent power packs and battery distribution into the lighting plot, so the gaffer never waits on a power source.

Our rental desk quotes full lighting packages in Korean Won, with the 10 percent VAT shown as a separate line. Daily and weekly rates step down across longer drama and feature blocks, and fixtures, grip, power, and consumables are itemised so the production reads each cost clearly. Inbound shoots clearing supplemental gear through Incheon on an ATA Carnet get manifest support from our team, and we prepare the gear paperwork that a KOFIC rebate claim requires.

FAQ

Lighting Rental Expertise

What lighting equipment do you supply?

We source all pro lighting kit, including HMI (ARRI M-Series, Joker), LED (SkyPanel, Gemini, Aputure), tungsten (fresnels, practicals), and specialty fixtures. We also supply full grip packages with stands, flags, diffusion, and rigging, plus power and dimming systems ready to go.

How far in advance should I book lighting equipment?

We suggest booking standard packages 2-3 weeks ahead. Large packages or specialty gear may need 4-6 weeks, above all in busy periods. Rush service is ready for urgent needs.

Can you provide gaffers and lighting crew?

Yes. We can arrange full lighting crews, including gaffers, best boys, electricians, and rigging teams, to work alongside your gear package. Each crew is skilled with the exact gear in your rental.

Do you handle power requirements?

We set up full power solutions, including power pack rental, distribution systems, tie-ins, and load calculations. Our team checks the power supply at your locations and suggests the right fit.

What about lighting for specific locations in South Korea?

We know South Korea's varied locations well, from historic palaces and temples with tight power to remote exteriors that need power pack support. Our team designs each lighting package around the challenges of the site.

Can you provide specialty lighting equipment?

Yes. We source specialty lighting such as balloon lights, Dino/Maxi fixtures, underwater lighting, architectural LED, and practical fixtures. To find exact gear, we work with specialty rental houses across South Korea and Asia.

Productions in South Korea that need this often pair it with HMI & Tungsten Lights and Lighting Modifiers for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Power Equipment Rental and Camera Equipment Rental.
