Casting Directors
Pro casting services in the heart of the Korean Wave. We connect shoots with South Korea's world-famous acting talent.
A casting director finds and picks the actors who bring a script's characters to life. South Korea's entertainment industry now has huge global reach through the Korean Wave (Hallyu). Its K-drama and Korean cinema talent is known and wanted worldwide. Korean actors trained at the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts), Chung-Ang University, and Dongguk University bring a rare mix of deep emotion, sharp craft, and star-quality screen presence.
We connect you with casting directors who know South Korea's fast-moving talent scene. Our network spans agencies in Seoul, Busan, and Incheon, with access to KOFIC-backed casting resources. The performers we reach range from award-winning art-house cinema to hit K-dramas and global co-productions.

Why Us
Why Choose Our Casting Directors
01.
Local Talent Expertise
Our casting directors have built ties with K-Arts graduates, major Korean talent agencies, and the casting networks behind world-praised films and K-dramas. We reach performers from the same tradition that gave us Parasite's cast and the stars of the Korean Wave.
02.
International Production Experience
Our casting directors have worked on global co-productions, Hollywood projects filming in Korea, and cross-border Asian shoots. They know the cultural cues and industry rules of working inside Korea's tightly run entertainment system.
03.
Local Knowledge
Deep knowledge of Seoul's Gangnam and Hongdae casting scenes, Busan's cinema community, and talent networks across South Korea drives our work. We set up auditions at Busan Cinema Studios, CJ ENM facilities, and pro casting rooms in Seoul's main production districts.
04.
Bilingual Casting Capability
We focus on Korean-English bilingual casting, finding actors who perform fluently in both languages. South Korea's wider global reach has grown the pool of bilingual performers. Our network also reaches Korean actors fluent in Japanese and Mandarin for pan-Asian shoots.
On Location
Casting directors plugged into Korea's talent ecosystem
Casting for a production in South Korea draws on a rare, tight-knit talent scene. The major agencies are SidusHQ, Saram Entertainment, BH Entertainment, Management SOOP, and KeyEast. They represent most of the principal and supporting actors working across K-drama, feature film, and global co-productions. Our casting directors have working ties with each of them.
Performers trained at the Korea National University of Arts, Chung-Ang University, and Dongguk University make up the core of the principal pool. The Korean Actors' Union roster supplies day players and featured roles. Our casting directors handle character breakdowns, talent submissions, chemistry reads, callback planning, and the deal talks that follow Korean industry norms. All sessions are recorded for remote review by global directors.
For shoots that need both Korean and English skill, we shortlist actors with logged global training or co-credits. We widen the search to performers fluent in Japanese or Mandarin for pan-Asian shoots. Sessions run at pro casting venues in Seoul's Gangnam and Hongdae districts, at Busan Cinema Studios, and through self-tape pipelines with quality control.
Background casting for crowd scenes runs through our assistant director network. Specialty extras, stunt performers, period-trained dancers, and hanbok-fluent supporting cast come from the rosters that supply Studio Dragon, CJ ENM, and the streamers' Korean originals. KOFIC compliance is built into our contracting. Global shoots claiming the K-content cash rebates can then qualify the principal cast spend correctly.

FAQ
Casting Expertise
What types of casting do you handle?
We offer full casting services. This covers principal roles (leads, supporting), day players, background artists, and specialty casting (stunts, dancers, musicians). Our casting directors have worked across features, TV, commercials, and branded content.
Can you find English-speaking Korean actors?
Yes. Our database holds Korean actors fluent in English, including those with global schooling or training. We also find performers fluent in Japanese, Mandarin, and other Asian languages for pan-Asian co-productions.
How do you handle auditions?
We offer flexible audition options. These include in-person sessions at pro casting venues in Seoul, Busan, and Incheon, self-tape planning with quality control, and live video auditions for remote directors. All sessions can be recorded for review.
What about background and extras casting?
We keep databases of background artists across South Korea, and we can source specific types, looks, and skills as needed. For large crowd scenes, we run casting calls and manage extras on shoot days through our AD network.
How far in advance should we start casting?
For principal roles on features, start 8-12 weeks before shooting. This leaves time for submissions, auditions, callbacks, and deal-making. Supporting roles need 4-6 weeks, while background casting can be set up faster, mostly in 2-3 weeks.
Do you handle talent contracts and negotiations?
Yes. Our casting directors work with talent agencies on deals that follow Korean industry norms, making sure terms fit your budget while meeting KOFIC standards. We also team up with your production legal staff to finalize contracts.
